"He bestrides the mountain as he bestrides the world.
Nyar shthan, Nyar gashanna!"

Las máscaras de Nyarlathotep (Masks of Nyarlathotep) is a campaign book for the famous roleplaying game based on the worlds of H. P. Lovecraft, Call of Cthulhu.
A distinctive square format was used for this version, in full color and with numerous original illustrations both for the cover and the interior of the core book and the director's screen.
Cover
This book continues the style of the first book one with a dark scene on the middle of the night. Now the horror is a figure that represents a mask of Nyarlathotep, the old one of the thousand masks.

Teaser Trailer
For the presentation of the book, Edge Entertainment prepared a short video that brought the cover illustration to life.

New Illustrations that match the graphic design
The original English version of the book only contained black and white illustrations. However, the Edge Entertainment edition - Las mascaras de Nyarlathotep - was published in full color, so a complete set of new full-color illustrations was commisioned for the project.
These illustrations are integrated in the graphic design, just as they were in the core book.

The 100 masks of Nyarlathotep
One of the most spectacular elements of the Edge Entertainment edition is updating one by one of the almost one hundred characters featured in the campaign. Each character was redone, based on the original designs but with a more adult style following the overall design of the book.

Chapters
Each new setting is introduced with chapter illustrated in the style of a poster, reference book, or travel guidebook. Each of them based on designs from the roaring twenties.

Illustrated story
The Masks of Nyarlathotep starts with a short story inspired by the universe of H. P. Lovecraft. This short story ends at the end of the book and is connected to the cover illustration.

And much more...
The book is fully illustrated. It includes numerous pieces of artwork like objects, maps, complementary backgrounds, etc. in which all of the details have been carefully considered to make this edition unique.
